Neotex

(MIL SPEC MIL-PRF-3134, Type II, Class 1)

Dex-O-Tex Neotex is a deck covering material that is available in two different formulations. Neotex-28 is designed for use on weather exposed decks or interior service areas. This neoprene latex mastic is trowel-applied to form a jointless surface, including ship\'s cove or sanitary base. Neotex-28 has good weather resistance and will not become soft with heat nor brittle when cold. It is durable under traffic in continuous wet environments and offers a wide range of acid and chemical resistance depending upon the finish coat selected. Typical installations include exterior deck surfacing, shower, washroom and toilet spaces. Neotex-P61 is a trowel-applied resin mastic deck covering for use in interior areas. It provides an attractive, seamless decking, including cove base, and is typically used where a cost-effective solution is required for greater thickness applications. Installation is completed with minimal downtime. Typical installations include shower, washroom and toilet spaces.

Typical Uses:

  • Exterior deck surfacing
  • Service passageways
  • Shower, washroom & toilet spaces
  • Refrigerator floor
  • Some food & preparation areas
